THE ACADEMY OF LACQUER RESEARCH

Founded on October 11, 1977, the Academy of Lacquer Research is committed to lacquer research.
Our aim is to promote the growth and development of academic research on lacquer art and to facilitate collaboration among its members.
Our activities include the promotion of lacquer art, facilitation of the exchange of academic material, promotion of joint research and studies, publication of our Bulletin and other work, as well as the organization of study meetings and lectures.
